Program description
AutoHound sends SMS text messages on behalf of collision repair shops to their customers about vehicle repairs: status updates, pickup notifications, appointment reminders, and two-way replies to customer questions.
Opt-in
You receive messages only after providing your mobile number and consent to your repair shop (typically at vehicle drop-off). Consent is not a condition of purchase or service. Consent is collected in person at the repair shop and is never a condition of service or purchase. There is no keyword, short code, or web form opt-in path. See how opt-in works for the full process.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your repair. Typically, a few messages are sent over the course of a repair order.
Fees
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP at any time to cancel and stop receiving messages. Reply START to re-subscribe if you previously opted in and then stopped. Reply HELP or contact your repair shop, or AutoHound at (888) 477-0652 or [email protected], for assistance.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include all major U.S. networks.
