How the connection works
One connection. Data moves both ways.
AutoHound sends repair data through PPG's published Paint Shop Interface. PPG returns mix data to the matching RO.
- Published interface
- AutoHound connects through PPG's published Paint Shop Interface using the standard XML repair order feed.
- Outbound connection only
- The connector makes outbound HTTPS requests. No inbound firewall rules or open ports are required.
- Shop-controlled access
- The shop can turn the connection off and revoke access at any time.
- Shop-set refresh timing
- Refresh timing is set in your PPG software, typically every 2 to 60 minutes.
